Hello, dear friend. It has been a few weeks. My neglect as summer launches into full gear has become palpable. As we approach the Aphelion, my favorite day of the year, when the Earth is furthest from the sun (July 6 at 6:00 CST this year) I find myself with less and less time to devote to the ordering of daily life. But, my fair bloggy blog, I have not forgotten about you.

At the moment I have nothing to share, except for my current enthusiasm for World Cup and my very current (as in right now) repeated listening of Radio Friendly Unit Shifter by Nirvana. I will attempt to be more present in this space over the remainder of the summer, but for now I leave you with this thought - "life's a garden - dig it."
