Shall we begin?
March 1994-August 1995
1975 4 door silver Chevrolet Impala with a
bout 120,000 miles on it at the time. I had my first accident in this car... and my first speeding ticket. Not to mention some great make-out sessions on the bench seat in the front.

August 1995-October 1995
4 4 door champagne colored Buick Century Ltd. This car did not last long. No accidents or break-ins. It just simply died.

October 1995-July 1996
1984 2 door gray Ford Tempo - this was my first manual transmission car. I sold it and went carless in college. No accidents or break-ins, except for the time Russ and I tried to tow it for fun in the AMC Ward Parkway parking lot and noone was in it to operate the brakes... oops!

September 2000-August 2002
1988 2 door white Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais - first car after a four year hiatus from driving. This vehicle had epic issues that I would love to delve into, possibly in a future post. No accidents, but this car was broken into twice - first time outside of Mike's Tavern at 54th and Troost, and 2nd time at my apartment at 40th and Charlotte.

August 2002-August 2005
2000 2 door red Ford Escort ZX2. This was my first and only car loan, and it was a terrible mistake. This car, while the most reliable, was also the least appropriate for me. However it was good for road trips and made it outside of the metropolitan area while under my care, which is more than I can so for most of the other cars I've had. It met an untimely demise in a flash flood event on SW Boulevard, leading to a 2 month break from driving. This car was also hit and run on (I never found out who did it) and backed into by someone in the Chipotle parking lot on 39th street. It was also broken into twice - once at my apartment at 11th and Hickory, and once when left overnight at 18th and Washington.

October 2005-June 2009
1994 4 door silver Volkswagen Golf III. This is my first foreign car and my favorite car - not only for its compactness for in-city driving, but also for its price and how long it lasted. In fact, I only sold it because I realized I had only driven it about 15,000 miles in 3 1/2 years. I left the doors unlocked and it was never molested, except for once when a drunken bum slept in it at my apartment at 16th and Walnut.
